Gary is a past chairman of the Esquimalt Recreation Commission,
Gary has served in many community groups. These include The Heart
Fund, The Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Red Shield
Appeal, and the Commonwealth Games. Still involved
in fastball, over the years he has also been active in soccer,
squash, basketball, hockey, and curling.
 About
Kathleen:
Born and raised in Courtney in the Comox Valley, she
came to Victoria to attend the University of Victoria, graduating
with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985, She spent 10 years working in
the restuarant industry, 2 years with Tourism Victoria and the
past 11 years at the Quadra Animal Clinic. In the past, she has
worked with Pacific Animal Therapy Society visitng local hospitals,
Job's Daughters and she is currently the show secretary for Rockslide,
a horse show put on annually by the Saanich Peninsula Reining
Club.
