Gary is a past chairman of the Esquimalt Recreation Commission. Gary has served in many community groups. These include The Heart Fund, The Multiple Sclerosis Society, The Red Shield Appeal, the Victoria Athletics Association, and the Commonwealth Games. Team sports have been a large part of recreation for Gary with his interests in fastball, soccer, hockey, and curling.
Born and raised in Courtney in the Comox Valley, she came to Victoria to attend the University of Victoria, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985. She spent 10 years working in the restaurant industry, 2 years with Tourism Victoria and a very enjoyable 11 years at the Quadra Animal Clinic. In the past, she has worked with Pacific Animal Therapy Society visiting local hospitals, Job's Daughters as well as previously serving as the show secretary for Rockslide, a horse show put on annually by the Saanich Peninsula Reining Club.
We have now lived in 12 houses throughout BC and have bought and sold our last home through you. Our experience in buying our home through you was clearly the best we have received, bar none. This has led us to refer anyone and everyone to you.
